Merry Christmas from all of us here at Air On Demand! This season, we’re grateful
to have remained a trusted source in the community for cooling, heating, and indoor air quality service and advice. We’ve had a few challenges and a whole lot of fun this year, and we are thankful for all we have!
This year, we have met a lot of great people, and gotten to know customers both new and old. We’ve been lucky enough to partner up with The Pink Fund to donate to breast cancer patients in Miami-Dade. And we have continued to offer excellent customer service and customized solutions. Thanks for supporting us through another great year, and enjoy your time with loved ones.
Last-Minute Holiday Comfort Tips
If you live in the Miami area, you need your air conditioner to be in good shape for any holiday parties or family get-togethers. Follow these last-minute holiday comfort tips, and prevent your air conditioner from completely shutting down in the middle of your Christmas dinner.
- Keep the thermostat at a reasonable level. We know it’s tempting to turn the temperature way down when it’s warm on Christmas day, but if you overwork the air conditioner, it could shut down when you really need it. We do not recommend turning the temperature much lower than 77°F.
- Cook conservatively. Keep in mind that turning on the oven can heat up a home quickly. Try to prepare oven-baked meals in the evening hours, when the sun isn’t out.
- Open the windows. If the weather is nice enough, you may want to give the air conditioner a break and open up a window. If you’re hosting a lot of people, the fresh air may be a nice change.
- Change the air filter. One simple step can make a big difference in the performance and efficiency of your air conditioning and heating systems. Change the air filter once a month!
